Fenerbahce are looking to bolster their squad during the remainder of the summer transfer window and it looks like they are looking at one of the biggest clubs in Europe. According to Turkish media outlet Takvim, Fenerbahce have made an approach to Bayern Munich for a loan deal of Jerome Boateng.
Takvim reports that Fenerbahce are interested to see whether he would be available for such a move, as the Turkish club would offer him a season-long loan. A signing of his caliber would not only do great things for the Istanbul-based club, but also for the whole Turkish Super Lig.
Boateng is 30 years old and has fallen out of Niko Kovac’s plans and Bayern could let him go. Interesting part is that he earns 230.000 euros per week and Fenerbahce could be open to paying two thirds of that sum if he was to join them. However, Turkish media are known for not being too reliable.
