According to Sky Sports News, Turkish club Fenerbahce are the latest club to showcase their interest in former Swansea City manager Carlos Carvalhal. The 52-year-old, who spent three years in Turkey with three different clubs earlier on in his career, has been out of a job since leaving relegated Swansea earlier this year.
Fenerbahce are considering the possibility of replacing their current manager after a thoroughly disappointing start to the campaign. They’re a million miles away from where they once were towards the top of European football, and they’re even struggling domestically.
Carvalhal is supposedly flattered to have a club like that being interested in acquiring his services, but he’s said to be more interested in another job in England. He appears to have settled into life here nicely, and while he’s had a few missteps in the last few years, he’s shown signs of being a highly capable manager.
