Fergie makes a personal check on Hazard

Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson was spotted at Gerland last night, watching the Lyon vs Lille game.

The Scottish manager made a trip to Lyon in order to watch Lille forward Eden Hazard in action, as he ponders making a summer move for the Belgian.

Ferguson was caught by the television cameras and was even seen yawning as Lisandro Lopez scored the winner.

Fergie has made the Belgian international his number one target in the summer transfer window, but he could face a stiff competition from other interested clubs as a number of high-profile clubs are keen on the 21-year-old.

Hazard has made it clear that he wants to leave Lille for greener pastures at the end of the season, and it is believed les Dogues will not stand in his way.

The youngster has been in scintillating form this season, scoring 11 goals and setting up 9 more in 26 Ligue 1 appearances.
