Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson insists he will be staying on after winning his eleventh Premier League title today.
Manchester United only needed a draw against Arsenal at Old Trafford on Saturday and as the match ended in a 0-0 draw they managed to match Liverpool’s record of 18 top-flight crowns.
“That was the longest 90 minutes in history!” he said to Sky Sports. “There was only one save made in the match; it was a cautious match.
“Still, we want to progress with this team. It’s a young team, and next season we can go for it again.
“We’ve built up slowly, but my aim was just to win one title. Eleven titles is incredible.
“I’m not contemplating retirement. My health will tell me when to quit. Let’s pray it’s another five years.”
