(GSM) – Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is impressed by the club’s new signing Javier Hernandez’s performance at the 2010 World Cup.
The Mexico forward has shown an outstanding performance against France by scoring his country’s first goal. The 22-year-old will officially join United on July 1st after Ferguson agreed an undisclosed fee with Guadalajara on April 8th.
The Scottish manager told Sirius radio in New York: “He did very well.
“He showed good movement, quick and sees space very well. I was very pleased with his performance.”
The Scot tactician suggested the current World Cup had been disappointing: “It’s been a disappointing World Cup but I had a feeling it would be.
“I have been disappointed with the quality levels, I have to say.
“I haven’t been impressed at all.”
