Premier League clubs are monitoring the progress of Crewe Alexandra teenager Nick Powell, according to a report.
Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson and his assistant Mike Phelan as well as Everton boss David Moyes were in attendance to watch Powell play against Aldershot Town on Saturday, according to BBC Radio Stoke.
The 18-year-old has been attracting rave reviews for his displays in League Two, and seems to have caught the eye of current Premier League champions United, among a host of others.
Powell has made over 50 appearances for Crewe in his short career, and has represented England at Under-16, U17 and U18 level.
The teenager’s performances earlier this campaign saw him win December’s Football League Young Player of the Month award, and he is Crewe’s top scorer this season with 15 goals.
