Ferguson praises strikers: Best attack since 1999

(GSM) – Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson is very satisfied with his attacking options.

This summer, the Scottish coach added Chicharito and Bébé to his front line which already contained four top strikers: Wayne Rooney, Dimitar Berbatov, Federico Macheda and Michael Owen.

Ferguson even compared his current offense with the fabled quartet of Andy Cole, Dwight Yorke, Teddy Sheringham and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

He said: “In terms of numbers, it’s the best strike force since 1999. I’m sure they will all get their chance.”
