Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson says there is no need to buy new players in January in spite of injuries to Anderson and Tom Cleverley.
The Red Devils are currently struggling for form and with both Anderson and Cleverley on the sidelines, many believe that United need to reinforce the squad in January.
However, Sir Alex Ferguson doesn’t think so and reveals that he is unlikely to do any business in the January transfer window.
“We’re not as bad as people think at the moment,” Fergsuon was quoted as saying in The Mirror. “I think we’re okay, we’ve got a strong squad.”
“It’s dead easy to say are you going to buy players, but it’s not easy to buy players for Manchester United – particularly in January.
“And I don’t see anyone really who that can make us a better team from the players who are possibly available.
“I could choose two or three players that I’d like to have at this club, but they’re not available so there’s no point going there.”
