According to a recent report from Sky Sports News, it is now unlikely that Bruno Fernandes will join Manchester United during the summer transfer window. The Sporting Lisbon midfielder has been heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford for quite some time now, but it appears as if he is no longer a priority for the club during the current window. Fernandes, who scored in Sporting’s recent game with Liverpool, has already made it known that he would be interested in the idea of a switch to English football. Alas, despite this, Manchester United themselves aren’t quite as sold on the idea.
United have already spent big during the current window and it seems as if that’s going to continue as the weeks go on and the season gets closer, but Fernandes almost certainly won’t be a part of those plans.
Either way, though, it doesn’t seem like his future lies at Sporting either.
