Fernandinho open to Man City extension

During a recent interview with Sky Sports, Manchester City midfielder Fernandinho confirmed that he would be open to holding talks with the club over a possible contract extension at the Etihad. He already signed a one-year extension back in January, but is already considering another deal.

“First of all, I just want to get back to work and play again. I extended my contract a couple of months ago and I am so happy, but after that, we’ll see,” Fernandinho said.

“If we have another conversation about another contract in the future, I would be happy. But if not, I would be happy as well because I know what I have done for this club and what this club has done for me, how they have helped me.”

While he may have had a few less than stellar moments, Fernandinho is certainly a player City will want to keep on the books.
