Manchester City are ready to offer Fernandinho a new contract, according to the Mail Online.

The Brazil international has played every minute of the league leaders Premier League campaign so far this season and scored in the 3-1 win over West Ham United back in August.

He also netted in last weeks 3-3 draw with Celtic in the Champions League while his outing in Sunday’s 2-0 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur was his one hundred and fiftieth for the club.

He was part of the squad that won the Premier League title in 2014 while he has also been victorious in the League Cup on two occasions.

He has been capped twenty-nine times for his country, scoring twice and featured at the 2014 World Cup finals in his home country.

City’s loss to Spurs at the weekend ended their 100% start to the league season though they are still firm favourites to win the title at a price of 10/11.
