Tottenham Hotspur striker Fernando Llorente has suggested that he would be interested in returning to Athletic Club.
The experienced forward left los Leones on a free transfer to join Juventus back in 2013 and has since represented Sevilla and Swansea before signing for Spurs last summer.
Having since played a bit-part role in London, Llorente is considering his options and admits that a return to Athletic Club could be on the cards.
“Athletic Club are my home and if they make an offer, a return could happen,” Llorente confessed to Marca.
“I enjoyed many wonderful moments at the club that I will never forget and Athletic will always hold a special place in my heart.
“If they do make me a proposal to come back, then I would have to think about it and yes, maybe it could happen.”
Llorente went on to score 85 goals in 262 league appearances for Athletic during his first spell with the club, while also netting 7 times in 24 Spain caps.
The 33-year-old has got another year left on his deal at Tottenham and it remains to be seen whether he will be moving clubs in the summer.
