Few changes in FIFA rankings

The top 12 places remained unchanged in the latest FIFA world rankings which were released on Wednesday, with Senegal the big mover.

World champions Spain remain top from the Netherlands, Brazil, Germany and Argentina, while England stayed sixth.

Uruguay, Portugal, Italy and Croatia rounded out the top 10.

Japan remained the highest ranked Asian nation despite slipping one spot to 14th.

It was African nation Senegal who jumped 11 places and into the top 50, moving from 51st to 40th.

The majority of nations did not have an international fixture since the last rankings were released in mid-April, seeing those who performed make their move up the standings.
