The European adventure of Kalmar FF has come to an end, despite having won the opening leg against Feyenoord in the first round of the UEFA Cup. The Dutch won the return match and advance to the group phase.

Wijnaldum put the visiting side ahead after seventeen minutes, after which Feyenoord continues to put pressure on the Swedish goal.

But in the first minute after the break, the home side equalised through Johansson. A draw in the second leg was enough for Kalmar to make it through to the next round as the first leg was won 1-0.

The decider came nine minutes later though, with some help from Nouri who directed the ball into his own goal for 1-2. The second away goal helps Feyenoord to the next round.
