Feyenoord are stepping up their efforts to sign goalkeeper Warner Hahn from Dodrecht, reports Dutch newspaper Algemeen Dagblad.
The talented shot-stopper has decided to leave his current employers when his deal expires at the end of the season and is currently evaluating offers.
And even if Celtic and Utrecht are also showing interest, the latest reports suggest that Feyenoord are leading the chase.
The De Kuip outfit has been negotiating with the player’s representatives for several weeks now, and even if the agreement has yet to be reached, they are confident of luring the 21-year-old to Rotterdam.
Warner Hahn is reportedly eager to join his boyhood club and will only explore other options if the talks with Feyenoord fall through.
Following the unexpected defeat to RKC Waalwijk, Ronald Koeman’s side sit six points adrift of Eredivisie leaders Vitesse, and are now 9/1 to win the first league title since 1999.
