Juventus are closing in on Feyenoord youngster Tonny Vilhena, according to the player’s representative.
The 18-year-old midfielder has been impressing in this year’s Eredivisie and has in turn seen his name linked with a number of Europe’s top sides.
Vilhena’s representative admits that a number of clubs have enquired about his client, including Italian giants Juventus.
“We talked about him and other things,” agent Mino Raiola told Radio Mercato following the meeting with the Bianconeri officials.
“Many teams like Tonny and among them is Juventus, who have started a major youth project.”
While working on reinforcing the main squad, Juventus officials are also trying to attract some of world’s hottest prospects to Turin, with Paul Pogba the first of many to follow.
Feyenoord’s Tony Vilhena appears to be their latest target, which is hardly surprising considering that the 18-year-old is already playing regular football at De Kuyp.
The talented midfielder has come through the youth ranks at Feyenoord and managed to score 4 goals in 24 league appearances for the club.
He is currently playing for Netherlands Under-19 side and has two Under-17 European Championship titles to his name.
