Feyenoord are ready to launch a new assault on free agent Otman Bakkal, Voetbal International reports.
The 28-year-old has been a free agent since leaving Dinamo Moscow earlier this summer, and everything suggests he will be returning to Dutch Eredivisie.
Bakkal is reportedly aware of Feyenoord’s interest and is ready to return to De Kuip, although he is waiting for the Eredivisie club to make him an offer he can’t refuse.
Feyenoord are eager to add the experienced midfielder to their ranks and they are prepared to make an extra effort to recruit the player in the coming weeks.
Seeing as how he is currently unattached, Bakkal can be signed outside the transfer window, and no doubt his experience would be a huge asset for the De Kuip outfit.
The former Netherlands Under-21 international has spent one season at Feyenoord, having joined on a season-long loan from PSV Eindhoven, and he largely impressed during his spell, scoring 9 goals in 29 league matches.
