Spanish full-back Filipe Luis is reportedly looking to leave Chelsea at the earliest opportunity, AS can reveal.
The Brazilian joined the Blues last summer from Atletico Madrid, together with Diego Costa, but while his teammate has enjoyed a brilliant start to the career in England, the defender has largely struggled to make an impact.
Luis only made a total of 10 Premier League appearances as he continues to play second fiddle to Cesar Azpilicueta, and it appears he is hoping to return to Spanish La Liga.
AS has learned that the Brazilian notified his former teammate and close friend Joao Miranda of his desire to leave Chelsea.
It remains to be seen whether Luis will be on the move in the summer transfer window, but there is a chance Atletico could offer him an escape route from Stamford Bridge.
Prior to joining Chelsea, the Brazilian had spent four very successful years at Vicente Calderon, making 127 La Liga appearances.
