Feyenoord beat AS Roma in the first leg of their clash in the quarterfinals of the Europa League on Thursday by 1-0, courtesy of this fine strike by midfielder Mats Wieffer.
Feyenoord’s hero could’ve easily been the villain instead, having conceded a penalty for handball earlier, but luckily for him and his team, Roma captain Lorenzo Pellegrini failed to score from the spot.
