Finland 21/20 to beat Greece in Thursday’s Euro 2020 qualifier

Competition: EURO 2020 qualifiers

Market: Finland win

Odds: 21/20 @ Bet 365

With the mood in their camp at a continued high, Finland will welcome a struggling Greece to the Ratinan Stadion on Thursday night.

Starting with the hosts, coming off the back of a very eye-catching display in their 2-0 win away in Liechtenstein back in June, Finland have continued to shine and Markku Kanerva’s side have their sights firmly set on securing a spot at Euro 2020. Now winning each of their three Group J appearances since a close-fought 1-0 loss against Italy in their qualifying opener, fans around the Ratinan Stadion will be most excited by Finland’s continued defensive resolve. Along with Norwich ace Teemu Pukki leading the line, Huuhkajat have also now not picked the ball out of their net in almost 300 minutes of action.

As for the visitors, while Finland might be enjoying an impressive resurge, the same cannot be said for a Greece side in the midst of a real struggle. Suffering a 3-2 loss at home to Armenia back in June, Head Coach John van’t Schip has now seen his side suffer a three-match losing run and now sit five points adrift of finding a route out of Group J. A huge part of Greece’s continued issues has been their down to their struggles on the road. Outside of Athens, Thursday’s guests have won just one of their last five matches, a run that stems back to September. Also suffering a 2-0 loss the last time they made the trip to the Ratinan Stadion, we’re backing a similar result on Thursday night.
