Napoli leapfrogged Atalanta to the Serie A summit following a comfortable 3-0 win over Fiorentina.
With La Dea not in action this weekend due to their Italian Super Cup commitments, Antonio Conte’s side took full advantage, with David Neres, Romelu Lukaku and Scott McTominay on target at Stadio Artemio Franchi.
The Partenopei broke through just before the half-hour mark, as Neres linked up with Lukaku and skipped around three challenges before firing past David de Gea.
Moise Kean saw an equaliser ruled out for a foul in the build-up, before Napoli doubled their lead within nine minutes of the restart.
Matias Moreno brought down Frank Anguissa in the box, and Lukaku calmly sent De Gea the wrong way from 12 yards.
Another defensive error allowed the visitors in for a third goal, with Pietro Comuzzo’s poor clearance from Anguissa’s cross falling to McTominay, who sealed a fourth straight win for his side.
13 – Since his first season in #SerieA (2019/20), Romelu #Lukaku has collected 13 games with at least 1 goal scored and assist provided, a joint-high in the competition during this period. Multitasking.#FiorentinaNapoli

Data Debrief: Lucky 13 for Lukaku
Napoli beat Fiorentina away in Serie A by a margin of three or more goals for only the second time in their history, also doing so courtesy of a 3-0 win in February 2012.
The Partenopei have kept a clean sheet in six of their first 10 Serie A away games of the season for the first time since 1988-89.
Since his first season in Serie A (2019-20), Lukaku has now provided at least one goal and assist in 13 league games, a joint-high in the competition during this period.
