Italian giants Fiorentina and Roma are locked in the battle for Malaga winger Joaquin, according to Marca.
The 31-year-old has been one of star performers in what has been the most successful season in Malaga’s recent history and his scintillating displays did not go unnoticed.
Marca understands that Fiorentina and Roma are stepping up their interest in the player’s services, while Rubin Kazan are also keen.
Joaquin has a contract until June 2014 at La Rosaleda and a €20 million release clause, and this could be his last opportunity to earn another lucrative deal.
With Malaga going through financial difficulty at the moment, the former Spain international is likely to be interested in a move abroad.
Joaquin, who joined los Boquerones from Valencia in the summer of 2011, has made 32 La Liga appearances this season, managing 4 goals and 5 assists in the process.
