Il Corriere dello Sport is reporting that Fiorentina may consider selling star midfielder Borja Valero at the end of the season.
The Spaniard has been one of Viola’s star performers ever since he joined from Villarreal and he rejected a number of lucrative offers in order to remain at Artemio Franchi.
With over two years left on his current deal, it would appear as though Valero will be staying at the club for the foreseeable future, but recent reports suggest Fiorentina may decide to entertain offers for his services.
It is believed that Viola would consider proposals in the region of €8 million for their star footballer, although it remains to be seen whether there is any truth in those reports.
Borja Valero has been incredibly loyal to the club in spite of Fiorentina’s failure to challenge for Champions League positions, and he seems prepared to end his playing days at Artemio Franchi.
