La Nazione is reporting that Fiorentina are hot on the trail of Borussia Dortmund striker Ciro Immobile.
Viola have experienced plenty of problems up front with Giuseppe Rossi and Mario Gomez missing plenty of action through injury and they appear to be in the market for attacking reinforcements.
According to La Nazione, Fiorentina are readying summer bid for Borussia Dortmund forward Ciro Immobile.
The Italy international has struggled for playing time since joining from Torino and he is clearly not in the first team plans of Jurgen Klopp at the moment.
As a result, Fiorentina are prepared to offer the forward an escape route from Signal-Iduna Park, with Borussia chiefs unlikely to stand in the player’s way.
After finishing the previous season as Serie A’s top goalscorer, Immobile has only managed 3 league goals this term, despite starting nine matches and making another eight substitute appearances.
He did, however, impress in the Champions League, netting four times in six matches.
