Serie A giants Fiorentina are showing interest in Napoli striker Leonardo Pavoletti, according to Sport Mediaset.
Viola appear to have decided to cash in on star forward Nikola Kalinic in the summer transfer window and they want the Azzurri player to replace him.
Pavoletti only joined Napoli in January from Genoa, but he has struggled for playing time with both Dries Mertens and Arkadiusz Milik in front of him in the pecking order.
The Azzurri may be ready to cut their losses and accept an offer lower than the €18 million they paid for him, although a season-long loan is a more realistic possibility.
Leonardo Pavoletti only enjoyed three hours of league football since arriving in January, failing to score a single goal in the process.
He had, however, performed really well while at Genoa, scoring a total of 23 goals in 44 Serie A appearances.
