Italian newspaper La Nazione has suggested that Fiorentina midfielders David Pizarro and Massimo Ambrosini could be leaving Artemio Franchi at the end of the current campaign.
Both players will be out of contract in the summer, and the club have yet to decide whether to offer them contract extension.
La Nazione reports that the final decision will be solely on Viola boss Vincenzo Montella, who will determine whether the duo stays or not.
While Massimo Ambrosini hasn’t quite managed to prove his worth since arriving from AC Milan in the summer, David Pizarro remains an important player for the club, but he is reportedly pondering a return to his native Chile.
The 34-year-old has made 21 Serie A appearances this season, starting 18 of those games and scoring 1 goal in the process.
Meanhwile, Ambrosini, 36, has started 14 league matches while making another 4 substitute appearances for the club.
