Fiorentina go after Kurzawa

According to a recent report from L’Equipe, Serie A side Fiorentina are interested in the possibility of signing Paris Saint-Germain defender Layvin Kurzawa. The left back currently has just one year remaining on his contract with the club, with the belief being that they would accept a fee of around £12 million for his services. In recent years PSG have been much more in favour of bringing new stars in than letting them go, but at this point in his career, it doesn’t seem or feel it is a necessity for the French champions to keep hold of him.

Fiorentina, on the other hand, are in desperate need of a few new faces as they attempt to bounce back from their terrible campaign last time out. They were on the verge of being relegated into the second tier of Italian football, which seems bizarre when you think about where they were just a few short years ago.
