AC Milan defender Luca Antonelli could be moving to Fiorentina during the January transfer market.
Reports emerging from the news outlet Tuttosport claim that Viola are analysing their options after seeing Cristiano Biraghi and Maxi Oliveira fail to live up to expectations at Stadio Artemio Franchi.
Fiorentina are said to have identified out-of-sorts AC Milan defender Luca Antonelli a possible solution to their defensive problems and are plotting a January move for the 31-year-old Italian who dropped further behind in the pecking order behind Ricardo Rodriguez.
Antonelli has less than two years remaining in his contract with Rossoneri.
The struggling Serie A giants would not stand in his way and could accept a transfer fee as little as €2 million for Antonelli.
AC Milan will lock horns with Austria Wien on Thursday night and Luca Antonelli could be given the opportunity to have another run out after ten minutes on the pitch he was rewarded with against Sassuolo before the international break.
The Italians stand at 2/7 price to beat the Austrian powerhouse.
