Il Corriere dello Sport is reporting that Fiorentina are the latest side to have joined the chase for AC Milan defender Ignazio Abate.
Seeing as how Juan Cuadrado could leave the club before the transfer window closes, Viola plan to have a replacement ready.
According to Il Corriere dello Sport, AC Milan full-back Ignazio Abate is the number one name on their hit-list that also includes Glen Johnson, Jon Flanagan and Atsuto Uchida.
The Rossoneri are ready to offload their long-serving player this summer, with the Italy international reportedly on the radar of quite a few top European clubs.
Ignazio Abate, 27, has spent his entire career at San Siro, while enjoying loan spells with Torino, Empoli, Modena, Piacenza and Napoli.
He has made a total of 136 Serie A appearances for the Rossoneri, scoring one goal, while also earning 21 Italy caps, featuring at the 2012 Euro and 2014 World Cup.
