Il Corriere dello Sport has revealed that Fiorentina are pondering a summer move on Udinese starlet Luis Muriel.
The two clubs are likely to do some business in the summer transfer window, namely because Viola plan to purchase the other half of Juan Cuadrado’s contract.
However, the two sides have an agreement to cash in on the Colombian in case of a very good offer that could arrive after Cuadrado impressed this season.
In that case, Fiorentina would use the money from the sale to try and lure Luis Muriel to Artemio Franchi.
Despite struggling for playing time this season, the 22-year-old is considered one of league’s hottest prospects and Viola are eager to recruit him at the earliest opportunity.
The interesting thing is that Serie A rivals are set to meet each other on Sunday afternoon in a Serie A clash, where Fiorentina have been made 13/20 favourites to claim maximum points.
