La Gazzetta dello Sport is reporting that Fiorentina are readying summer bid for Napoli goalkeeper Luigi Sepe.
Viola are in the market for a new shot-stopper after Neto’s contract came to an end, and they appear to have made the Italian footballer their number one target.
Fiorentina officials have spent the last few months of the previous season watching the 24-year-old and they believe he has what it takes to perform at the highest level.
With Pepe Reina returning to Napoli, Sepe would struggle for playing time if he remained at Stadio San Paolo and chances are he will be interested to hear what Viola have to say.
Sepe only made one substitute appearance for the Azzurri since coming through the youth ranks, but he largely impressed during loan spells with Pisa, Virtus Lanciano and Empoli.
The talented goalkeeper started 31 Serie A games under current Napoli coach Maurizio Sarri last season, but he may have to move if he wants to continue playing on regular basis.
