Fiorentina looking to finalise Cutrone deal

The January transfer window is in full swing and some more action is expected in the coming days. A lot of transfer rumours have been circling around, about players from both Premier League and Serie A and now one player could make such a swap between the two leagues for the second time in just six months.

According to Gianluca di Marzio, Fiorentina are hoping to complete the signing of Patrick Cutrone from Wolverhampton Wanderers. The report says that the Serie A outfit wants their new signing to join them in the next 48 hours. It has not been going great for the 22-year-old Italy striker, as he has scored just three goals in 24 appearances for Wolves, since joining them last summer from AC Milan.

Wolves have been heavily linked with signing a forward in January, as Cutrone has been struggling to make an impact and now he could get a new chance in his native country.
