Fiorentina are set to reignite their interest in AS Roma starlet Alessandro Florenzi, according to Il Corriere dello Sport.
With the Giallorossi securing the signature of Juan Manuel Iturbe and Yannick Ferreira Carrasco set to arrive from Monaco, Florenzi’s place in the starting line-up is in serious danger.
As a result, Fiorentina are ready to offer the Italy international an escape route from Stadio Olimpico, as they hope the lure of regular first team football will be enough for the youngster to leave Roma for Viola.
Florenzi now has an important decision to make and it will not be easy for him to leave his boyhood club, the place where he has made a name for himself.
The 23-year-old, who had also enjoyed a season long loan spell with Crotone, was in scintillating form last season, having managed 6 goals and 7 assists in 38 Serie A matches for the Giallorossi.
