Fiorentina official reveals Arsenal and Chelsea keen on Jovetic

Both Arsenal and Chelsea have shown interest in Montenegrin forward Stevan Jovetic, according to Fiorentina advisor Roberto Galbiati.

Jovetic has only recently recovered from a serious knee injury, but that didn’t stop English giants from trying to secure his services.

The Montenegrin forward was linked with both Chelsea and Arsenal, with the Gunners even having a bid rejected on transfer deadline day.

“It’s not only Chelsea who want Jovetic, but Arsenal also,” former Fiorentina youth coach Roberto Galbiati told TV station Italia 7.

“Arsenal, on the last day of the summer transfer market, submitted a bid to Fiorentina but the club refused.”
