La Gazzetta dello Sport understands that Italian giants Fiorentina are ready to entertain offers for star player Mario Gomez.
The German striker returned to Artemio Franchi after one of the most successful seasons in his career, bagging 26 goals in 33 league outings for Besiktas.
However, Fiorentina chiefs do not think the club can afford his hefty wage bill any longer and are ready to consider offers in the region of €7 million.
Wolfsburg recently attempted to bring Gomez to Volkswagen Arena, but the striker rejected the approach as he hopes to continue his career in England or Spain.
The 31-year-old fared pretty well at the Euro 2016 finals, netting twice in four appearances for Germany, and he is now holding out for a big club move.
A return to Besiktas is also an option, but it is clear that Gomez would prefer to play in a more competitive league.
