Juventus target Stevan Jovetic will not leave Fiorentina in the off-season, club director Gianfranco Teotino has said.
Reports indicate Juventus are set to increase their offer for the Montenegro international after having their initial bid rejected by the Florentine club.
But Teotino has given a strong indication that the 22-year-old has been taken off the market.
“I think that Stevan will stay with us and that the squad will be built around him to entertain the fans,” Teotino told reporters on Monday.
“There is a lot of confidence and we want the player to be part of our project for the next year. We want to qualify for the Champions League with him being part of the project.”
Jovetic, who joined Fiorentina from Partizan in 2008, scored 14 goals in the Serie A last season.
