Fiorentina set to sign Valentin Eysseric

Radio Monte Carlo is reporting that Fiorentina are set to announce the capture of Valentin Eysseric from Nice.

The long-drawn negotiations are finally set to be concluded, resulting in the 25-year-old signing a four year contract provided he successfully passes a medical.

Eysseric will be the second French footballer to move to Artemio Franchi, following in the footsteps of Jordan Veretout.

The 25-year-old was allowed to leave despite making 29 Ligue 1 appearances last term (4 goals) as Wesley Sneijder and Alain Saint-Maximin both joined.

Having enjoyed several successful campaigns with les Aiglons, Eysseric will now attempt to prove his worth in Italian Serie A.
