Serie A outfit Fiorentina have announced the deal for AS Monaco winger Gil Dias on their official website.
The 20-year-old joins Viola on a two-year loan with an option to buy, further increasing competition for places up front.
Owned by AS Monaco, Gil Dias enjoyed successful loan spells with Varzim and Rio Ave, producing 6 goals and as many assists in his first ever Primeira Liga campaign.
His excellent performances in Portugal clearly did not go unnoticed and the forward now gets a chance to test his skills in Italian Serie A.
Fiorentina have also signed Carlos Sanchez, Sebastian Cristoforo, Nikola Milenkovic, Jordan Veretout, Valentin Eysseric, Marco Benassi and Rafik Zekhnini this summer.
