Italian giants Fiorentina have wrapped up a deal to sign French midfielder Jordan Veretout from Aston Villa.
Viola announced the capture via their official Twitter account, while L’Equipe claims the transfer is worth €7 million.
Following a somewhat disappointing start to his career in England, Veretout managed to return to the right track as he enjoyed a successful loan spell with Saint Etienne.
He has now joined Fiorentina after passing a medical earlier today and he arrives as a replacement for long-serving playmaker Borja Valero.
Veretout was in fine form last season, having managed 4 goals and 5 assists in 43 competitive appearances for Saint Etienne.
