Fiorentina defender Facundo Roncaglia has denied reports linking him with a move away from Artemio Franchi.
The Argentine defender only joined Viola in the summer, but has largely impressed at the start of his career in Italy.
Roncaglia has done so well in the first eight Serie A games that he was linked with a number of Italian top sides.
Nevertheless, the player has now reiterated his desire to remain at Artemio Franchi, even though he has failed to rule out a big club move in the future.
“At this moment in time I am thinking only about Fiorentina,” the 25-year-old told Sky Sport Italia. “I just want to give my best for this club.
“Then, with time, we’ll look at the possible scenarios. But, right now, I want to underline that I am only focusing on the Viola.”
Roncaglia, who has made himself available to Italy boss Cesare Prandelli, has earned comparisons with Argentina legend Daniel Passarella.
“I like that comparison a lot. I never saw him play, but I know that he was a great player.”
Facundo Roncaglia developed into a key player for Viola shortly after arriving to the club on a free transfer from Boca Juniors, and he has scored 1 goal in 8 Serie A appearances for Fiorentina.
