Fiorentina star drops quit hint

Fiorentina hotshot Adem Ljajic admits he may have to leave the club in search for the first team football.

The 19-year-old playmaker started the season as a first team regular but lost his place in the side when Mutu and Vargas returned to contention.

“Before we didn’t have Mutu, Vargas, Jovetic, Frey and Montolivo. We have made a jump in quality with these players,” Ljajic told La Gazzetta dello Sport.

The young midfielder believes that the return of key players is the main reason why he has been relegated to the bench.

“Effectively yes. We’ll see about next year. It’s too much even if it’s better for the team this way.

“I don’t know if I will stay. We’ll see in June.”

The Serbia international has attracted a lot of attention with his performances this season and there will be a long list of suitors should he decide to leave Fiorentina.
