Serie A outfit Fiorentina have submitted another proposal for River Plate defender Emanuel Mammana, according to Il Corriere dello Sport.
Viola are desperate to recruit a central defender before the transfer window closes, but they have already had several offers rejected for the 19-year-old stopper.
Il Corriere dello Sport has now learned that their latest proposal of €8.5 million is non-negotiable, meaning that Fiorentina will end interest in Mammana in case their approach is rejected.
If that happens, they will turn their attention to Genoa’s Sebastian De Maio, who has developed into one of the league’s best central defenders.
The Frenchman has made a total of 70 Serie A outings for the Rossoblu since arriving from Brescia and he was linked with few other top clubs from Italy.
Fiorentina hope to finally secure Champions League qualification this season and they can be backed at 4/5 to achieve a top 3 finish.
