Italian giants Fiorentina are reportedly readying bid for Lyon defender Lindsay Rose, L’Equipe can reveal.
Despite making 15 league appearances during his debut season at Stade Gerland, the youngster has been placed on the transfer list recently and los Gones clearly hope to offload him at the earliest opportunity.
According to L’Equipe, Fiorentina are prepared to step up their interest in the 23-year-old, who is valued at between €2m and €3m.
Viola cashed in on Stefan Savic earlier this summer and they hope to sign Rose as his replacement.
Ligue 1 outfit Nantes are another side showing interest in the former Valenciennes hotshot, but Fiorentina appear to have the upper hand at the moment.
After finishing last three Serie A campaigns in fourth position, Viola are eager to show some improvement and finally clinch Champions League qualification, and Artemio Franchi outfit are available at 13/2 to achieve a top 3 finish this term.
