According to a recent report from Sky Italy, Serie A side Fiorentina are interested in the possibility of signing Fernando Llorente. The 34 year old veteran forward was released by Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur at the end of last season, after a campaign which saw him score a handful of really important goals for the North London side. Llorente is open to the idea of actually returning to Tottenham for another season if the offer came into him, but in addition to that, he will also consider the possibility of returning to Italy.
He wants to evaluate all of his offers once they are actually on the table, which makes sense, but even with that being the case you’d think a move to Serie A could be really good for him.
At this stage in his career, though, it seems like he’s just going to choose the move that makes sense for him and his family.
