Flamengo declare interest in Vagner Love

Brazilian giants Flamengo are looking to make a bid for CSKA striker Vagner Love, the club vice-president has revealed.

The the 27-year-old is looking for a new challenge and he has already expressed his desire to leave the club in January.

CSKA leaders are willing to listen to offers for the star striker after he spent more than six years in Moscow.

Brazilian side Flamengo have now expressed their interest in signing the highly rated striker.

“We are already working on this,” Flamengo vice-president Michel Levy told Lancenet.

“There’s no way to solve it this year. It will be in 2012. We are working on submitting the proposal in the first week of January.”

Vagner Love already spent six months on loan at Flamengo and could be interested in returning to Engenhao.
