(GSM) – Flamengo advanced to the Copa Libertadores quarter-finals on Wednesday on away goals after their 2-1 defeat at Corinthians produced a 3-3 aggregate score.

Flamengo won the first leg, 1-0, last week, but Corinthians got off to the flying start in the 28th minute Flamengo defender David put into his own net.

Eleven minutes later, veteran striker Ronaldo made it 2-0 to Corinthians, a result that would have put the home side through.

But, four minutes after the restart, Vágner Love struck what proved to be the decisive away goal for Flamengo.

Flamengo now face a last-eight tie with either Universidad de Chile or Alianza Lima.
