Flamengo defender Marllon Jeronimo Goncalves Borges admits that he would love to join AC Milan one day in the future.
The 20-year-old is regarded as one of the most promising defenders in Brazil and he has been followed by a number of European sides.
Despite only recently making his debut for the senior side, Marrlon is tipped to leave Flamengo for greener pastures in the near future.
The highly rated centre-back admits Italian Serie A could be his next destination if he decided to leave the Brazilian giants.
“I’d like to play in Italy,” Marllon confessed to Italian news agency Itasportpress. “As a professional, I would accept the offer from any of the big clubs.”
However, the player reveals one Italian club stand above the others as far as he is concerned.
“If I could choose I would play for AC Milan, the team that wear the same colours of my Flamengo.”
The young defender patiently waited for his chance at Flamengo and finally established himself as a first team regular at the start of this season.
In total, Marllon has made 16 league appearances for the club, but has yet to get on the scoresheet.
