Mathieu Flamini has been added to the French selection for the upcoming European Championships, to possibly replace Patrick Vieira.

Vieira hasn’t been able to make an appearance in France’s friendly preparation matches with Ecuador and Paraguay as result of a thigh injury.

France boss Raymond Domenech has six days left to announce an official squad change.

Flamini, who recently signed a deal with Italian giants AC Milan, formed part of the French pre-selection but was one of seven players to be dropped.
