Fletcher linked with shock West Brom move

West Bromwich Albion are considering a bid for Manchester United midfielder Darren Fletcher, according to Sky Sports.

The Scotland captain, who has spent his entire career so far at Old Trafford, has started just five games in all competitions so far this season.

He is by far United’s longest serving player having made his debut twelve years ago, and has a whole host of trophies to his name having been part of the squads that have won five league titles, the FA Cup in 2004 and the Champions League in 2008.

Fletcher has spent much of the past three years on the side-lines after suffering with a bowel disease, but has managed to revive his career.

West Brom, who beat Hull City in Tony Pulis’s first league game in charge last weekend, travel to Everton on Monday evening where they can be backed at a price of 7/2 for the win.
