Il Corriere dello Sport is reporting that Alessandro Florenzi is set to sign a new and improved deal at Stadio Olimpico.
After revealing that the club would not be signing new players in January, sporting director Monchi has began working on new contracts.
According to reports, key defender Kostas Manolas is set to pen a new deal in the coming days and it has now been revealed that Alessandro Florenzi should follow in his footsteps.
Despite being regarded as an important member of the squad, the Italy international is only earning €1.7 million pre campaign and he will be offered a new deal worth around €2.7 million.
At the same time, Monchi has two players whose contracts are due to expire at the end of the season on his radar, and he has established initial contacts with representatives of Milan Badelj and Jose Maria Gimenez.
